Mobiilin Filtterit (en-gb)

Instructions for using filters in the Pictue mobile app to find images in both the Map and Gallery views.

 Mobile App Filters

Filters make it easy to find the images you need—even years after they were captured.

Using Keyword Paths and image metadata, you can narrow down tens of thousands of images to exactly the ones you're looking for in just a few taps.

 Area Selection

Use the Area Selection tool to display all images from a specific location.

Tap the Area Selection tool, then draw a custom area by tapping points on the map. A light blue polygon will be created. Once you close the shape by tapping the first point, all images within the selected area will open in the Gallery.

 Image Clustering

When image clustering is enabled, nearby images are grouped into a single marker.

Tap a cluster to zoom in. As you zoom closer, the cluster automatically expands into smaller clusters or individual image markers.

 Organisation

Select which organisation's images you want to display in the Map and Gallery.

This is particularly useful if you work with subcontractors who share images from their own Pictue organisations.

 Date Range

Filter images by the date they were captured.

Choose from several predefined date ranges or select a custom date range using the calendar. Pictue remembers your last selection for future use.

 Keyword Path

Use the Keyword Path filter to display images captured using a specific Keyword Path.

Simply select one or more Keyword Paths, and Pictue will show only the matching images in both the Map and Gallery.

 User

Filter images by the user who captured them.

 Keyword Lists

Search for images using your Keyword Lists, such as a specific project or worksite.

You can select multiple Keyword List values at the same time to display images matching any of the selected values.

 Keywords

Search for images using individual Keywords, for example a specific work phase.

Multiple Keywords can be selected simultaneously.

 Image Status

You can also filter images by Image Status.

Image Statuses use custom colours to identify images on the map, making it easy to find images with a particular status. Multiple statuses can be selected at once.

 Comment Search

Search for images by the text entered in their comments.

Tap the Comment icon and begin typing your search term. Matching images are filtered in real time on both the Map and Gallery.

Note: Comment searches require the text to match the original comment exactly, although uppercase and lowercase letters are ignored.
