Image Status

Create and manage Image Statuses to classify images and track their progress in Pictue.

 Image Status

In Pictue, you can assign an Image Status to your images either during image capture or after the images have been uploaded.

Each Image Status has a name and a colour, and both are fully customisable to suit your organisation's workflow.

You can manage Image Statuses by opening the user menu in the top-right corner of the web application and selecting Company Settings.

 Default Image Status

Every organisation includes a default dark blue Image Status, which is automatically assigned to all newly uploaded images unless another status is selected.

You can rename the default status, but its colour cannot be changed.

 Creating an Image Status

To create a new Image Status, click Add New Status.

Enter a name, choose a colour, and click Save.

The selected colour is displayed on image markers in both the web and mobile map views, replacing the default blue marker.

Editing or Deleting an Image Status

To edit an existing Image Status, click the pencil icon next to the status name.

You can update both the name and the colour.

To delete a status, click the trash bin icon.

Important: If you delete an Image Status, all images currently using that status will automatically be reassigned to the Default status.

Remember to click Save after making any changes.

Image Status in the Mobile App

Image Statuses are also available in the Pictue mobile app.

You can:

  • View Image Status colours on the map.
  • Change an image's status from the Gallery.
  • Select an Image Status while capturing and uploading new images.
