FAQ
Why is Pictue so affordable and how is it possible?
Our story started with the fact that there were many different systems in use on the sites, but the installers were still recording things on their own phones and in messages.
The software was too expensive and difficult to use, so a simpler and cheaper solution was needed.
We wanted to do a few things properly instead of making a lot of features that were difficult to use. This way, the software remains clear and priced so that people working in the field can also be given their own IDs.
The aim is that documentation is not just the responsibility of the office or the foreman, but that everyone can contribute directly from the site. Pictue has been made easy to use in the field, so that the information is captured instantly and is also visible to the office in real time on the map.
Is Pictue an expense or an investment?
A good question - and often the first thought is that it's about the passage.
In reality, the biggest cost is in how the documentation is done now.
When images are manually searched, transferred and archived, it can easily take hours a month or even weeks - often unnoticed. Even more costly is the complete lack of documentation: claims, ambiguities and unbilled work.
Pictue does not add work, it removes it. By documenting everything correctly the first time, you save time, reduce errors and find everything you need in seconds.
For customers, Pictue pays for itself in just one week in time savings alone - plus it ensures that there is always a record of the work.
Is it difficult to set up?
No, it is not.
Pictue is designed for field use, so deployment is quick and easy. In most cases, teams can even get started in the same day without heavy training.
Are there any start-up fees or other additional costs associated with Pictue?
No hidden costs, fuel surcharges or foxtails. You pay for a certain number of users and you can change users within that number if you wish.
We even offer a set-up.
What do I do if I want more licences?
You can upgrade to a larger package at any time, according to the packages above.
In addition, you can purchase new user licenses as your usage increases.
Can I add my customers or other stakeholders as users?
You can and should. With Pictue, you can automatically limit the visibility of your subscriber, subcontractors and other stakeholder users in real time, so that everything you need is transparently shared, but nothing is superfluous.
In addition, you can share unlimited image data via a sharing link, allowing your stakeholders to see what's happening without logging in or paying a licence fee.
I already have several systems, where can I get photos?
Great!
That's how almost all our customers started out. Even so, the documentation was on their own phones, in instant message groups and in emails. From there, a small amount of well-done documentation was manually filed into the right systems by management on a daily basis.
When important documentation was needed later, it had over time disappeared into phones, group chats and email chains. After hours of sorting through, the right picture might have been found on an old phone of an ex-colleague on holiday.
Pictue integrates with other systems, making documentation in the field consistent and easy.
At the same time, it creates a transparent and accessible history for the office in one place. From there, it is always accessible in seconds.
What if employees don't want to adopt the new application?
This is a common concern - which is why Pictue has been made as easy to use as possible.
With faster documentation than, say, WhatsApp or a phone camera, there's no need to force adoption - users embrace it because it makes their work easier.
Employees also like the fact that there are no more work photos in their phone gallery and that management doesn't ask them to send or archive photos afterwards. They are already in place from the moment they are taken.
How is Pictue different from WhatsApp or other ways to share photos?
WhatsApp and other channels work for communication, but not for documentation.
Photos remain in conversations, get lost over time and are difficult to find later. With Pictu, everything is stored systematically, easy to find and access later.
Manually transferring, searching and sorting images can take up hours of team time each week and even cause unnecessary work when evidence of a job well done is not available later.
